At Friends Detroit, we believe every child deserves a consistent, caring adult who is committed to walking alongside them through life's challenges and celebrations. Through our unique model, Professional Mentors support youth for 12+ years, providing encouragement, advocacy, and stability from kindergarten through high school graduation.

We are grateful to WDIV for helping us raise awareness about the importance of mentorship and for shining a light on the incredible resilience, potential, and promise of the young people we serve.
