2023 Time for the Children Gala Recap On May 18th, 2023 we hosted 150 guests at our signature event, the Time for the Children gala. Hosted at the beautiful Shinola Hotel in downtown Detroit, the evening was a wonderful celebration of the importance of mentoring in our community. We were honored to spend time with old friends and to make new ones too! The honorable, Dave Bing, our keynote speaker, shared powerful words of wisdom and support for our program for which we are so thankful. The evening also featured a stellar silent auction with some incredible items: including a private trip plane to Chicago, a private Chef's dinner at SheWolf, one of Detroit's top restaurants, and a top-tier wine basket from our Board Members. Finally, the event was closed out with a joyful performance by The Detroit Youth choir. Their talent and dedication to the community is impressive. We can't wait to have them back next year!
