After a long corporate and government career, Anthony answered a faith-driven call to serve children. Anthony served as a Substitute Teacher at various southeast Michigan schools, including stints as a Building Substitute (reporting every day) for two area public school districts. Anthony also has served as a volunteer board member and fundraiser for several nonprofits advancing youth education, empowerment and enrichment. Active in his church’s community outreach initiatives — especially those targeting homelessness and food insecurity — Anthony earned a BA degree in English from Yale University.
