William J. “Bill” Moir is Senior Vice President of Care Delivery System Support Services Operations at Henry Ford Health, a $13B integrated health system with 13 hospitals and more than 55,000 team members. In this enterprise role, he leads supply chain, clinical engineering, facilities management, food and nutrition, environmental services, and patient transport. Bill led the integration of Support Services across the expanded system, identifying more than $45M in synergy savings while standardizing operations at scale. A national champion for supplier inclusion, he has held leadership roles with Premier Inc., the Healthcare Supplier Diversity Alliance, and the Health Anchor Network, helping advance equity across the industry.
An architect of transformation, Bill introduced enterprise playbooks, analytics driven decision making, and technology enabled supply chain and support service operations, significantly improving contract compliance, cost controls, and systemwide performance. His leadership has been recognized nationally, including Journal of Healthcare Contracting’s Contractor Professional of the Year and Gartner’s Top 25 Healthcare Supply Chain recognition. Bill holds an MBA with honors from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and a BS with honors from Michigan State University. He is known for challenging the status quo and leading with a community first mindset grounded in culture, mentorship, and continuous improvement.
