A seasoned finance and strategy leader with 20+ years of global experience, Luis’s journey with GM Financial has taken him from Venezuela to Brazil, Peru, China and now Michigan.

A former athlete and coach, he brings a lifelong commitment to leadership, learning, and community impact. From volunteering across Latin America to mentoring entrepreneurs and professionals throughout Southeast Michigan, giving back is core to who he is.

In 2025, Luis joined Friends of the Children Detroit’s Finance Committee and now proudly serves on the Board as Treasurer.
