Prior to becoming a professional mentor for Friends of The Children-Detroit, Kelley worked with children in educational settings as an Early Head Start and Pre-K teacher as well as a Literacy Tutor. She also serves as the Co-Director of her local church's Youth Department. Kelley attended and graduated from the Detroit Public School system while living in the inner city for most of her life. She has her Associates Degree in General Studies and is currently pursuing a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. Kelley is excited to contribute to the growth and advancement of Friends Detroit youth!
