Damonika Canada is a proud Detroit native and graduate of Michigan State University. GO GREEN! Holding a bachelor’s in human development and family studies, Damonika has spent eight years working with children from infancy through adolescence in various settings. Damonika has also gained experience working with children and families who’ve faced stressful situations, as a result of navigating the foster care system, while incorporating crisis intervention skills, and mental health services. Damonika strives to actively maintain safety measures for children and offer resources to families and community members in need.
