Gargi (she/her) is pursuing the Non-Profit Board Fellowship with Business+Impact at Michigan Ross. Originally from Toronto, Canada, she has over five years of experience in the non-profit sector, where she has advocated for mental health, educational, social, and economic resources for children, youth, caregivers, seniors, and teachers. Gargi is passionate about ensuring that all children, youth, and their communities are heard, seen, and respected.
Currently, she is interning at Connally Counselling and is a member of the Promoting Action for Intersectional Social Justice (PRAXIS) Committee with the School of Social Work.
Gargi graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and a Minor in Disaster and Emergency Management. She also completed a Certificate in Anti-Racist Research Practice. She is now pursuing her Master of Social Work, specializing in Interpersonal Practice in Integrated Health, Mental Health, and Substance Abuse at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
