Janquil “Jan” Stewart is a purpose‑driven Professional Mentor and early childhood educator with over 10 years of experience supporting children and families. Since relocating from Atlanta to Detroit in 2020, she has focused on advancing educational equity, youth development, and family engagement.
She has served as a Program Director, helped establish infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms, and most recently worked across Metro Detroit as a PreK–12 substitute educator, gaining broad insight into students’ academic and social needs. A cum laude graduate of Georgia State University with a degree in psychology and a minor in Spanish, Jan plans to pursue a Master of Social Work to deepen her impact.
Jan is passionate about building consistent, meaningful relationships with youth and is committed to helping children and families feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
